Star India batter Rohit Sharma has sent his best wishes to Angelo Mathews as he’s decided to retire from Test cricket. Mathews is playing his last Test against Bangladesh in Galle as he’s set to call time from the longest format after playing 119 matches for his country.
The 38-year-old is the third-highest run scorer for his country in Tests with 8167 runs to his name at an average of 44.62 with 16 hundreds and 45 fifties. Recently, India’s ODI captain Rohit Sharma sent his best wishes to the Sri Lankan all-rounder, recalling their past battles from the under-19 days.
